„TACET“
“TACET” comes from Latin and is a musical term. It means that an instrument or voice pauses – in other words: »it is silent«. With AMF TACET® from Knauf AMF suspended ceilings are jointless, homogenous and reduce noise.

Base Board
The basic component of the AMF TACET® system is the Base Board measuring 580 x 1600 x 24 mm. The mineral wool support plate is additionally provided with a blind perforation - this additionally contributes to improving the acoustic properties of the jointless ceiling system.

„Basic“ Base Plaster
The panels are finished on the visible side in two layers. The first plaster layer is AMF TACET® Basic, which can be applied by hand or spraying machine. Advantage - the butt joints of the support plates do not have to be filled by an additional work step!

„Top Coat" Acoustic Plaster
AMF TACET® Top Coat forms the top layer and ensures a homogeneous, smooth surface of the acoustic system. The standard colour of the top layer is natural white similar to NCS S 0500 N, but also available in many different colours.
